Abstract

Natural fiber-based textile products have been increasingly used for composite applications. Fibers like, hemp, flax, or kenaf are interesting materials. For this, new challenges compared to commonly used textile materials are evident. Plant-based fibers can suffer from bio-corrosion by bacteria and fung.
