Abstract

To deal with semantic heterogeneity among heterogeneous data sources, ontology is imported to the traditional data-integrated middleware. Domain ontology and local ontology are constructed as overall data view and local data view respectively. By establishing the mapping between domain ontology and local ontology, the problem of semantic heterogeneity is settled and semantic standard is reached. In this subject the way of automatic mapping is used to generate mapping relations innovatively. And an algorithm is given here. As a result, this way will provide an effective solution to the automatic integration of massive data. © 2011 Springer-Verlag.
