In this chapter, we delineate one of the most significant changes in modern organisations: the cultural diversity of their workforce through new foreign and migrant workers. Following a brief review of the magnitude and global nature of this social phenomenon, we approach the concept of migration by examining the difficulties in its definition, as well as the temporary and flexible nature of present-day migration.
