The colouring activity of batik industry in Kampung Batik Jetis, Sidoarjo Regency produced wastewater which was discharged directly into the water bodies. The wastewater had the high concentration of COD, BOD, Pb, and colour, with the values of 8366 mg/L, 2150 mg/L, 0,214 mg/L, and 2502 Pt-Co. The hybrid treatment of filtration and phytoremediation was a potential treatment of the wastewater from the textile industry. The research aimed to investigate the performance of the hybrid treatment of filtration and fitoremediation in removing the COD, BOD, Pb, and colour in the wastewater of the batik industry. The filtration media were silica sand, activated carbon, coconut husk, sand, and gravel. The plants in the phytremediation were water bamboo (Equisetum hyemale) and water jasmine (Echinodorus palaefolius). The results showed that the highest performance was achieved by the hybrid treatment of filtration and phytoremediation using jasmine water plant. The removal efficiencies of COD, BOD, Pb, and colour were 91%, 90%, 98%, and 91%, respectively. Based on the Kruskal Wallis statistical test, the variable of plant type and detention time had no significant influence to the removal efficiencies of COD, BOD, Pb, and colour, as indicated by a p-value> 0.05. Air limbah memiliki konsentrasi COD, BOD, Pb, dan warna yang tinggi, dengan nilai 8366 mg/L, 2150 mg/L, 0,214 mg/L, dan 2502 Pt-Co. Perlakuan hibrid filtrasi dan fitoremediasi merupakan pengolahan potensial air limbah dari industri tekstil. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kinerja perlakuan hibrid filtrasi dan fitoremediasi dalam menyisihkan COD, BOD, Pb, dan warna pada air limbah industri batik. Media filtrasi yang digunakan adalah pasir silika, karbon aktif, sabut kelapa, pasir, dan kerikil. Tumbuhan yang digunakan dalam fitremediasi adalah bambu air (Equisetum hyemale) dan melati air (Echinodorus palaefolius). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kinerja tertinggi dicapai oleh perlakuan hibrid filtrasi dan fitoremediasi menggunakan tanaman air melati. Efisiensi penyisihan COD, BOD, Pb, dan warna berturut-turut adalah 91%, 90%, 98%, dan 91%. Berdasarkan uji statistik Kruskal Wallis, variabel jenis tanaman dan waktu detensi tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap efisiensi penyisihan COD, BOD, Pb, dan warna yang ditunjukkan dengan nilai p > 0,05.
