Abstract
Problems associated with the cost-effective production of efficient living biological control agents are discussed in this review. Approaches to successfully develop and deliver biopesticides and PGPR's to the agricultural market are presented. This paper was presented at a symposium held at the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center (BARC), Beltsville, MD, USA, on 8-11 May, 1989.
