Abstract

This chapter provides a practical description of how to acquire a one-dimensional NMR spectrum. It begins with a description of the instrument, followed by a discussion of how to set the parameters for data acquisition, and ends with a description of a simple pulse program and a discussion of artifact suppression by phase cycling.
