Abstract

The article describes a collection of Russian satirical and political periodicals, and the acquisition and availability of the Viktor Kholodkov Collection of Music Cover Designs. Both collections are located in the Prints & Photographs Division at the Library of Congress. The majority of the issues in the collection of 221 periodical titles date to the period of the first Russian Revolution, 1905-1908.
