Abstract

We respond here to Makarieva et al.’s critique of Jaramillo et al., who showed that the concept of condensation-induced atmospheric dynamics (CIAD) violates Newton’s third law. We confirm here that their analysis is valid and that there is a contradiction in Makarieva et al.’s arguments. We also solve the paradox that CIAD can produce results consistent with observations despite being a flawed theory.
