Abstract

Arthroscopic adhesiolysis, with or without capsulectomy, is a safe and effective procedure that improves the articulation of the elbow. This procedure requires experience surgical skills, and knowledge of three-dimensional anatomy of the elbow. Neurovascular complications are possible; however, with experience, arthroscopic capsular release of the elbow can significantly improve the range of motion of the elbow with minimal soft tissue trauma and low incidence of neurological complications.
