Introduction to Science and Technology Park Activity - Case Study That Focuses on Complementary Support

Abstract

The article focuses on the activities of Science and Technology Park, “TECHNOPARK GLIWICE” Ltd. which is one of the best parks in Poland. The park operates for only four years. The article describes the most important projects which has been and are being implemented in Technopark Gliwice. The projects are mainly aimed at students and PhD students of the Silesian University of Technology and the employees of SMEs. The paper also presents the best companies located in the Park and the cooperation between the Park and other institutions of this kind in Poland.
