Abstract

The Spanish government has been supporting several initiatives oriented to develop the Information Society in Spain during the last years. This paper reviews the main ongoing projects as well as the established legal framework in Spain. Special attention is given to España.es, a two years (2004-2005) strategic plan to promote the access to electronic services to all citizens.
