Abstract

Maxi Steinbrück's chapter discusses systemic elements of Discworld educational institutions (or the lack thereof). Employing a theory of education approach, Steinbrück uses the Discworld as an example of how literary texts can serve as sources of knowledge for educational science, and what potential insights literature can hold for educational theorising in particular.
