Practice of design and production of worm gears with localized contact

Abstract

The paper considers the mathematical model, the main idea and examples of the practical application of a new approach to the design and production of worm gears with localized contact. Features of design for special and series worm gears under various limitations are distinguished; recommendations on the choice of parameters are given.
