The development of a model of higher cognitive behavior using the connectionist paradigm is attempted. The aim is to achieve a self-organizing system capable of learning from a continuous stream of input data and make generalizing predictions based on its previous experience. To achieve this aim, an approach based on the properties of Hebbian cell assemblies is used.
