Abstract

The next generation of RFID will be governed by developments which have occurred in the production of printed semiconductors and in the manufacturing techniques by which RFID tags can be produced using these new materials. The paper considers all of these matters as well as protocols that are appropriate for printed tags. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
