Method and Result: With Williams LifeSkills training, women signifi cantly lowered scores on depression, perceived stress, and state anxiety while men decreased systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure. Conclusion: Men and women both benefi tted from psychosocial intervention. Women improved their self assessed psychosocial measures whereas men improved psychophysiological parameters. Sex segregated analyses may detect important differences and should be part of any intervention program and evaluation.
