Abstract

The Japanese word kawaii, which represents an element of Japanese culture, is used all over the world to express emotional values. We have been conducting research on its measurement and classification by biological signals. We previously identified exciting and relaxing kawaii images. However, no experiments have targeted actual objects. Therefore, we performed a new experiment using stuffed animals and obtained new knowledge on kawaii that produces relaxing experiences.
