Abstract

Effective staff’ training, acting as one of the leading factors in the successful functioning of the contract system, is an urgent need of the society. In this regard, the subject of this study is the formation of integrative model for staff in procurement (contract managers) training that can serve to developing the potential of the Russian economy. The results of this research is the development of a model for training contract managers (syn. procurement specialists), taking into account the aspects of professional experience revealed in the process of approbation of this model in the pedagogical activity of the author on the basis of the Federal Innovation Platform in Procurement, Samara State University of Economics (further referred to as “SSEU”) from 2013 till present. Characteristic features of the methodical system for the training of contract managers have been analyzed. The results of the research can be used as a basis for the organization of vocational training and retraining, optimization of existing programs of professional development and implementation of innovative projects in these areas.
