Abstract

According to the improvements in wireless Internet technology, multimedia applications create new challenges, which must be solved. Internet-based videoconferencing systems have many variable factors, such as changes in the system operating environment or operating status of the hardware, according to the operator using the system. In this paper, we propose the Videoconferencing System, with multi-agents, for efficient videoconferencing, which is able to adapt itself to these various factors. This videoconferencing system has a dynamic architecture which is able to change the own architecture in runtime. © IFIP International Federation for Information Processing 2005.
