This study aims to find out specifically how the implementation of the Ibtidai Method was used in the yellow book learning process at the Hidayatul Mubtadiien Islamic Boarding School in Majalengka. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, namely a method to describe the data collected in a clear and detailed manner as it is. While the data collection techniques used observation, interviews and documentation as well as the data sources that came from caregivers, board administrators, teaching ustadz ibtidai and santri methods at the Hidayatul Mubtadiien Islamic Boarding School in Majalengka. The results of this study indicate: santri can read, interpret and understand the yellow book that Arabic language without charity. The students who were the object of the study were students who were still studying at the elementary Islamic school. Teaching materials include: guidebooks on the Ibtidai method, the Tijan ad-Darāri Book, Safīnatun Najāh Book. Evaluation system by means of reading ability tests, writing for pegon and oral tests for the Book of Tijān ad-Darāri, Safīnatun Najāh Book by way of question and answer.
