Abstract

(from the preface) This book defines the multidisciplinary components of occupational neurology, including study design (neuroepidemiology), exposure assessment (neurotoxic compounds and ergonomic stressors), methods for quantifying dysfunction in the nervous system, outcomes associated with exposure to neurotoxins and ergonomic stressors, rehabilitation of the injured worker, and finally, the interaction of the health care professional with the medico-legal system of toxic tort and workers' compensation.
