Abstract

(Created by APA) This chapter reviews several empirical studies that provide evidence that applying some of the Buddhist concepts to one's life can have a positive outcome on a person's well-being, a fact that Buddhist practitioners around the world have known for 2,500 years. It also looks at the basic tenets of Buddhist philosophy and Bodhichitta. (PsycINFO Database Record (c) 2008 APA, all rights reserved)
