Abstract

An interesting topic in dynamical systems is chaotic synchronization, that is, the possibility to synchronize the behavoir of several chaotic systems. Among the variety of available schemes, those dealing with some sort of control mechanisms have received increasing attention in recent years. In this work, we applied the program Mathematica to study the control strategies of chaotic synchronization. In our opinion, the powerful symbolic, numeric and graphic capabilities of Mathematica make this software an ideal tool to analyze the problem on hand. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2005.
