Abstract

This article discusses the presence of Physical Education in the education of children, analysing the conceptions about Infancy, Infant Education and Physical Education and how these concepts influence the construction of pedagogical propositions and educational interventions at school. More specifically, the object of discussion of this text are the teaching projects. Currently, in the sphere of the debates over syllabus organization, Project Pedagogy has presented itself as an alternative that allows knowledge building in its totality. But how does it happen? There still needs to be more debate over what Project Pedagogy really is, how it has been used in Infant Education and also how Physical Education can be built within this proposal. This text aims at indicating possible paths in search of a legitimate presence of Physical Education in Infant Education. KEY WORDS: Project Pedagogy - Physical Education - Infant education.
