Abstract

Over the past twenty years we have conducted a number of studies to better understand the role social abilities play in child development. A first generation of studies was aimed at proving the psychometric and ecological validity of three measures respectively related to Emotional Instability (EI), Physical and Verbal Aggression (PVA) and Prosocial Behavior (PB), using a multimethod-multiinformant strategy.
