Abstract

Powerful multichannel system for measurement of surface biosignals is introduced and its use for cardiac electric field mapping is presented. The system can use up to 128 active electrodes; active neutralization of the patient and battery-powered operation facilitates optimal signal quality. Amplification and measuring unit containing ADSP-BF537 processor with embedded network connectivity enables easy wired or wireless connection to the host personal computer. Measurement and data analysis PC software based on the. NET platform enables fast high-resolution multichannel measurement, processing and visualization of surface bioelectrical fields. Another application enables noninvasive identification of local ischemia using measured QRST integral maps and model of the patient’s torso.
