Abstract

We present a systematically organized MoCap Collection, especially designed to serve grounding language to action and provide linguistics with objectively measured method and parameters (among others path, manner, trajectory, direction), in order to solve long lasting theoretical questions, such as the minimum conceptual representation of verbal events, the binary nature of argument-adjunct, cross-lingual typologies, etc. We enriched the ontology with video data and avatars in various formats for behavioral studies. In the remaining of the paper, we present applications related to the present ontology.
