Pengelolaan Hutan Rakyat Berbasis Ameliorasi dan Agroforestri di Sekitar Taman Nasional Gunung Halimun Salak Desa Pulosari Jawa Barat

Abstract

Pulosari village is adjacent to forest land. The intensification of agricultural land is expanding as population growth increases the need for food. The conversion of forest land into agricultural land is continuously realized to cause many problems such as decreased soil fertility, erosion, extinction of flora and fauna, floods, droughts and even changes in the global environment. This problem is getting worse over time as the area of forest converted into agricultural land increases. Based on this, optimal land management activities are needed to obtain maximum results in meeting the needs of the increasing population. One way that can be done is through amelioration and agroforestry activities. This Community Service Program aims to assist the target community in developing their land in the form of community forest or community plantation forest so that their use can be intensified in order to provide additional income through amelioration and agroforestry activities. The specific target achieved is to improve the skills of forest land management by farmers by applying amelioration and agroforestry systems to unproductive land. The specific objective of this KKNT program is expected to be achieved through community empowerment of the Sumber Rejeki Farmer Group with the target of activities being the socialization of amelioration and agroforestry work programs as well as training on amelioration and agroforestry techniques to farmers. Pulosari village has a very large agricultural land, around 2,500 ha, with initially focus on horticultural crops. This program encourages farmers to implement amelioration and agroforestry for sustainable agriculture in their land.
