Abstract

This paper presents an experiment to obtain personality traits using a psychometric questionnaire that is augmented with visual representations that support answer options. From the results, it is suggested that the use of visual media improves participants’ perception of ‘fun’ or pleasure, while answering the questionnaire; thereby creating the potential to improve user engagement in commercial applications.
