Abstract

Aviation and medicine have more in common that we could be led to think. They both deal with human lives on daily basis, they both deal with critical situations, and they both work in teams, so strategies must be implemented to diminish the risk of error in both fields. Simulation and crisis resource management are just some of the tools we have available today for achieving this goal. We must remember that as far as we are individuals, we need to learn to work as teams, and in order to achieve good team approach, we need to have good team training. Teamwork requires specific training, and sometimes we don’t give it the importance it deserves. In the lines below, we’ll talk about why it is important.
