Abstract

There is really only one complication of anal fissure to discuss, after atypical fissures have been ruled out, and that is incontinence. A history of this awareness is presented and the most current data on how common this complication is. Nothing will be presented about the treatment of incontinence related to anal fissure surgery will be presented because nothing has been published about it.
