Ferulic acid is widely found in plants, especially in artichoke, eggplant and corn bran. This product is mainly used for the treatment of atherosclerosis, coronary heart disease and ischemic cerebrovascular disease. Recently, ferulic acid has attracted attention in the research and treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, nephropathy and cancer. The new pharmacological effects and possible indications of ferulic acid are being widely shown. Therefore, how to improve the efficacy of ferulic acid and its derivatives as well as the best indications is of great significance.
