Abstract

ABSTRACTThis research was conducted to analyze the effect of entrepreneurial orientation, innovation, and the use of information technology on business performance through competitive advantage in clothing traders at Kliwon Market, Kudus Regency. Entrepreneurial orientation, innovation and use of information technology act as exogenous variables, while competitive advantage as an intervening variable and business performance as endogenous variables. The total population of this study was 1550 seller with a sample of 318 respondents with purposive sampling technique. Data analysis uses SEM technique with the help of AMOS 24 software. The results of this study indicate that orientation has a positive and significant effect on competitive advantage but has a negative effect on business performance. Innovation and use of information technology is proven to have a positive and significant impact on competitive advantage and business performance. Competitive advantage can be an intervening variable between the influence of entrepreneurial orientation on business performance, innovation on business performance and the use of information technology on business performance. ABSTRAKPenelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan, inovasi, dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi terhadap kinerja usaha melalui keunggulan bersaing pada pedagang pakaian di Pasar Kliwon Kabupaten Kudus. Orientasi kewirausahaan, inovasi dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi sebagai variabel eksogen, sedangkan keunggulan bersaing sebagai variabel intervening dan kinerja bisnis sebagai variabel endogen. Jumlah populasi penelitian ini adalah 1550 pedagang pakaian dengan sampel sebanyak 318 responden dengan teknik purposive sampling. Analisis data menggunakan teknik SEM dengan bantuan software AMOS 24. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa orientasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing tetapi berpengaruh negatif terhadap kinerja bisnis. Inovasi dan pemanfaatan teknologi informasi terbukti berdampak positif dan signifikan terhadap keunggulan bersaing dan kinerja bisnis. Keunggulan bersaing dapat menjadi variabel intervening antara pengaruh orientasi kewirausahaan terhadap kinerja usaha, inovasi terhadap kinerja usaha dan penggunaan teknologi informasi terhadap kinerja usaha.
