Abstract

This article organizes its arguments, reflections, and concepts around the analysis of Colombia, la guerra que no existe, a documentary by director Llum Quiñonero. The film examines the armed conflict from different views of Colombian society and focuses on the testimonies of women who as victims and human right defenders resist this conflict from the other side of power. To approach this analysis, the article briefly contextualizes the social problem of internal forced displacement, and the particular situation of women within that reality, to conclude by presenting some considerations from the perspective of Women's Film and Feminist Film Theory.
