Abstract

Environmental education is nowadays an important part of school curricula everywhere. We have built a novel learning environment based on Internet of Things technologies, such as sensor networks and cloud storages. Initial tests of the learning environment indicate that local sensor data is an effective way to adapt multidisciplinary projects and scaffold learning for different age groups in a single learning environment.
