Virtual Reality (VR) application mostly deals with human gesture interactions to interface with the computing system in a completely computer generated virtualized environment involving the concept of physics to bring reality in the simulation. Gamification of VR applications allows the smarter way of its usage in various domains even with non-gaming context such as medical, industry, education etc. The contemporary engineering methodology of software application following various iterations between requirement gathering, design, implementation, testing, deployment and maintenance requires a novel shift to integrate interaction paradigm to make it suitable for virtual reality based gamified application. An enhanced engineering paradigm for VR application is necessitated due to the variation of visual and auditory perception in terms of acceleration, rotation, and equilibrium from person to person interacting with the system. Though developed using general design principles, every user will have a unique VR experience. The incorporation of reality into the simulation environment considering the psychological and physical factors experienced by the users of different application domain will be a quiet challenging task in VR environment. An augmented engineering paradigm having the base of conventional methodology along with an outlook of various challenges and features is proposed for the design and implementation of gamified VR based smart and real time application development.
