Abstract

Node localization for federate migration in simulation grid is studied. Both the load of computing node and the difference of communication delay in simulation grid are considered in locating the destination node of migrating federate. Simulation grid is divided into a number of logical node groups in each of which the communication delays are approximate between nodes. Locating processes includes intra-group processes and delay-centered inter-group processes. The average communication delay among federates is minimized. © 2010 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
