Abstract
Modeling and system design for a web-based collaborative learning and training system for navigation education and training (NAVIGATION - WCLS) was presented in this paper. The system framework design is based on collaborative learning, visual learning ideas, simulation technology and our newly developed campus-based desktop multifunctional navigation teaching system. The NAVIGATION -WCLS aims to facilitate learning navigation theory and technology anywhere and anytime. © Springer-Verlag 2004.
