We propose here a distance learning approach finalized for teachers education and the identification of the main skills they have to acquire. This article is divided into two parts : first, we show how distance learning design seems to require collaboration between learning actors. Then, we emphasize the importance of regulation and “system thinking” required in distance learning. Our concrete experiments of distance learning design and implementation led us to propose these three skills.
