Abstract

The majority of patient monitoring equipments do have numerous cable connections to the main data processing unit. Therefore, especially the emergency rooms are usually packed with a lot of uncomfortable equipments which could create a difficult access to the patient. One solution to this issue is the using of low-micro power radio remote data transmission. © 2010 International Federation for Medical and Biological Engineering.
