Abstract

The HSE information system constructed in China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) in several years ago has not met the demands of HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) management improvement. The key problem lies in that resource management has to be coupled with application management in its architecture. This paper proposed a design of resource management architecture to tackle the issues confronted. The proposed architecture design views resource management as an independent task instead of coupling with application development and management, and make it easier to achieve scalable resource utilization and application management. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2014.
