Abstract

The article examines the appropriate safe temperature-range for conducting American Red Cross (ARC) aquatic instructional program. It suggests that for each individual there is a water temperature range in which he/she is most comfortable at rest and at different levels of exercise intensity. The number of possible interactions is likely impossible to set a specific standard for each person/activity in the water and, thus, only general guidelines will be given.
