Abstract

At present, the methods of quantifying software process in software engineering have been very mature. Because the software process can be quantified, you can use the general principles of control theory and methods in software for the ways of automatic adjustment, coordination and optimal control by which the software process is in the range of stable equilibrium. This paper describes how to apply the control theory in software engineering. © 2011 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
