Organizations began to adapt the characteristics of the work to meet the expectations and desires of its employees. Consequently, it became necessary to understand how this affects different dimensions of human behavior at work. In this context, this study aimed to analyze how the flexibilization of work influences worker satisfaction and how both affect organizational citizenship behavior. The research method used was the survey and, for analysis of the data, the Structural Equation Modeling technique was used. Analyzing the obtained results, it was verified that organizational citizenship behavior is influenced positively by the satisfaction of the worker and negatively by the flexibility of the work. In addition, it was found that flexible working arrangements positively impact job satisfaction. With these results, this research contributes to the advancement of the understanding about the antecedents of organizational citizenship and, at the same time, the impacts of the flexibilization of work.
