Abstract

This chapter presents space and security policies of selected European countries and indicates the main priorities and trends thereof. In particular, it addresses relevant strategic documents that show how certain states in Europe use space assets and applications to ensure security policy objectives. Recent developments at the national level are linked with space policymaking in the frame of the European Union and the European Space Agency.
