Abstract

While focusing on malignant tumours seems medically reasonable, from a biological perspective, benign and malignant tumours provide complementary and perhaps equally relevant perspectives on the mechanisms of tumour invasion and metastasis. However, the biology of benign neoplasms is rarely studied.
