Abstract

The method of QoS-based composition generally doesn't consider trade alliance of the service providers, so it can't be applied to the scenario of service alliance based on modern supply chain. In this paper, we study a service composition model composed of the business service process and the service relational network, and use genetic algorithm with penalty function to solve the 0-1 nonlinear programming problem. We can conclude from the simulation results that the optimal model considering the service alliance can obtain better results in the average total number of QoS attributes and objective-function values as well as better commercial benefits. © Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg 2007.
