Abstract

The domestic and international wallet payment business market has been fiercely contested. However, in recent years, travel platforms have also begun to participate in the competition for market share of wallet payments. Through the industry analysis of domestic and foreign wallet payment business, the four main product characteristics of wallet payment business are summarized. Combined with specific case analysis, summarize the current Internet model and the opportunities for travel platforms to conduct wallet payment business. The travel platform itself accumulates a part of users by relying on the travel business. How to convert existing customers into wallet customers and to recruit new customers is an important consideration in the development of the travel platform. The research in this article summarizes the entry point of the travel platform for wallet payment, which is of practical significance for the company to increase user retention by solving payment pain points and expanding transaction scenarios.
