Abstract

New oncological therapies have been successful in increasing cancer patient survival, but they have also led to an increa- se in morbidity and mortality linked to their side effects. During cancer treatment, the development of cardiovascular side effects has a negative impact in prognosis, but also in cancer survivors, in whom cardiovascular diseases and secon- dary malignancies are the main cause of death.
