Abstract

A new solvent-responsive gene locus, designated sepABC and a divergently transcribed sepR, (sep for solvent efflux pump), was found downstream of the two-component todST signal transduction phosphorelay system that regulates toluene degradation (the tod pathway) in Pseudomonas putida F1 (PpF1)
